WAV is an audio format developed by Microsoft and IBM to store uncompressed audio as files on computers.

OGG is a free and open container format used to store video and audio. The Xiph.org foundation maintains the OGG file format. The container format can store both video and audio stream by multiplexing them. The cool thing about OGG Vorbis is that it is open source and free to use.
